Description:
This scene captures a quietly theatrical moment: a young beauty stands at the threshold of her residence, appearing to invite an older market vendor inside, while he bows awkwardly with his basket, looking slightly bewildered by the unexpected attention. Above them, a group of elaborately-dressed women lean over a balcony, watching and whispering, turning what might be an ordinary delivery into a socially charged spectacle.
Condition:
Nice impressions with rich color retention. Overall fair condition with handling wear, soiling, creasing, slight wormage, burn marks at top. No backing.
