Authentic Edo period original, c.1836, Japanese erotic art shunga woodblock print picture by Keisai EISEN (1790-1848).  From the shunga series, Konote gashiwa (Two Aspects of Love/ Child’s-hand Oak).  Shunga picture measures 22.5 cm x 15.4 cm.  Very good colors and impressions, as well as mica (metallic pigments).  Condition is good with some wear & soiling.  No backing.  Please see and judge from photos.
 
A great antique Japanese shunga artwork of a couple ready to smoke a Japanese tobacco pipe (kiseru).  The beauty also sports the customary blackened teeth of her era (ohaguro).
