Meiji period, c.1870, Japanese erotic art shunga woodblock print picture booklet by an artist of the Kunisada School, as two of the pictures here - although smaller versions - are nearly identical in theme and context to some of Kunisada's earlier Edo Period shunga works.
 
Shunga book measures 15 cm x 11.5 cm closed.
 
Good colors and impressions.  Condition is good with some wear and soiling.  The book's original covers have been replaced.  Please judge from the photos provided.  All pictures are shown here.  There are four shunga picture pages in all.  Kanji text pages for remaining pages.
