Authentic & original Meiji period c.1900, Japanese shunga erotic art woodblock print picture by Tomioka Eisen (1864-1905).  Measures approximately 16.6 cm x 22.6 cm.  Very good colors and impressions.  There is also the use of urushi-e (black lacquer) to exemplify the hairlines, thus adding lustre to their beautiful and distinctive sheen.  Condition is decent with some wear, soiling, few stains.  No backing.  Please see and judge from photos.
 
A woman holds a teapot for her thirsty male lover underneath her.  In their proximity lie a number of crumpled up papers, suggesting their lengthy and arduous love-making bout.  Truly an exemplary piece of shunga artwork by one of the Meiji Period greats - Tomioka Eisen!
