A female reclines in quiet abandon within a boat drifting on still water, her loosened robe and relaxed posture echoing the unhurried rhythm of the river.  A white heron rises into the air, while distant Mount Fuji anchors the horizon, balancing human pleasure against the serenity of nature.  Senju’s soft palette and fluid linework turn the scene into a meditation on release — sensuality carried gently by landscape and breeze.
