Authentic Edo period original, c.1840, Japanese erotic art shunga surimono woodblock print picture by an artist of the UTAGAWA School.  Shunga picture measures 9 cm x 12 cm.  Excellent colors and impressions and nice embossing!  Condition is good with some light wear, faint horizontal crease going across the middle of the picture.  No backing.  Please see and judge from photos.
 
A very rare homoerotic gay (nanshoku) shunga from c.1840 Japan.  In this scene, a large and intimidating samurai takes the dominant role and penetrates his younger male partner.
